Hi everyone
Today has been again straightforward – I spent part of my morning writing some more for the murder mystery event. I am really enjoying just writing creatively, and finding new ways to promote the museum and also the work that goes on here at the Coach House. I was particularly interested in some of the items I was cataloguing today. I took a photo of a memorial plaque which was designed to commemorate the effort of soldiers from what appears to be Canada in WW1. I was interested most of all in the figure who was depicted on the front, as he looked like a man from the First Nations, instead of a white soldier.
The connection between Bridport and sea trade with Canada (the Yukon) interests me a lot, as I am going on to study History and American Studies at university, and I would be very interested in studying abroad, most likely (considering the root of this conversation) in Canada, probably around Vancouver in British Columbia.
See you next week – I’m for a couple of days!!
Bye Bye!!
